Welcome to Melody Medic. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Melody Medic mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Melody Medic. Users under the age of 13 may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Use of the App

Melody Medic grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial wellness purposes. You agree not to:

Copy, modify, distribute, or resell any part of the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its security

3. Accounts

Some features require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Health Disclaimer

Melody Medic is a wellness and relaxation support tool only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition.

5. Rewards, Points & Virtual Items

The App may offer streaks, points, badges, avatars, and other virtual rewards. These items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be modified, reset, or removed at our discretion.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App, such as journal entries. You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. We do not claim ownership of your personal journal entries.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, music, designs, logos, and software in the App are owned by Melody Medic or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use them without prior written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on third-party services (such as authentication, storage, or analytics providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or use the App in a manner that may cause harm. You may stop using the App and request account deletion at any time.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Melody Medic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
